Terms of Service

By using Teafarm ("we," "us," the service), you agree to these terms. Teafarm is operated as a sole-proprietor business. These terms are a plain-English contract between you and us.
These terms are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before relying on them in a dispute.
1. What we provide
Teafarm provides managed Rust dedicated game server hosting. We run the hardware, the operating system, the Rust server process, and the control panel you use to manage it.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. You're responsible for your account credentials. Don't share them. Tell us promptly if you think your account is compromised.
3. Billing
Plans are monthly subscriptions billed in advance via Stripe. Prices are in USD. You authorize us to charge your payment method on the billing cycle you picked. You can cancel from the panel; cancellation stops future billing and keeps your server running until the end of the current period.
If a payment fails, we notify you by email and keep your server running for up to 7 days while you fix payment. After that, the server is suspended. Suspended server data is retained for 30 days before deletion.
4. Refunds
Full refund inside 48 hours of first signup if you haven't used the service meaningfully. After that, refunds are prorated and issued only where we're at fault (extended outage, undelivered service). We don't refund for change of mind.
5. Use of the service
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don't use Teafarm for illegal activity, don't attack other services from our network, don't run content or plugins that violate Rust's or Facepunch's terms.
6. Data
Your server files, configurations, player save data, and uploaded plugins belong to you. We keep daily backups for 7 days (or hourly for Community+ plans) so we can restore if something goes wrong. We don't read your save files or plugin source unless we need to for support you've requested.

7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime. The SLA spells out what we commit to and what happens if we don't hit it.
8. Termination
You can cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, the AUP, or the law, or if payment fails beyond the grace period. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion.
9. Limitation of liability
We provide the service "as is." We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. Our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that is acceptance of the new terms.
