Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-19
This AUP covers what you can and can't do with a Teafarm server. Violating it can result in suspension or termination.
Rust-specific rules
- No cheat or exploit hosting. Don't run plugins that ship exploits, wall hacks, aimbot integrations, or server-side cheats.
- No alt-farming or ban-evasion services. Commercial alt-account farms or bypass-as-a-service operations are prohibited.
- Facepunch's rules apply. Whatever Facepunch's server rules say, those apply here too.
Network & security
- Don't use the server or network to attack other systems (DoS, DDoS, port scanning, credential stuffing).
- Don't host malware, phishing pages, or credential-harvesting tools.
- Don't attempt to escape the server sandbox, access other tenants' data, or reverse-engineer the agent.
Content
- No content depicting or facilitating illegal activity.
- No content involving minors in sexual or abusive contexts. Zero tolerance. Reported to NCMEC.
- No content promoting hate, harassment, or real-world violence against groups or individuals.
- No content infringing third-party intellectual property. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
Resource abuse
- Your plan's CPU, RAM, and disk are enforced via cgroups. Sustained attempts to exceed them will trigger throttling and, if persistent, account review.
- Don't run arbitrary non-Rust workloads (mining, hosted web services, bulk email) on the game server.
Reporting
Report abuse to abuse@teafarm.gg. Include the server IP, the behavior observed, and evidence (logs, screenshots). We investigate within 48 hours; urgent issues (active attacks, CSAM) sooner.
Enforcement
First violation usually gets a warning. Severe or repeat violations get immediate suspension. Actions that create legal or reputational risk for the service get immediate termination without warning. We cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.
